Karina Pulec of Boulder passed away on October 30 from injuries sustained in an accident. She was 28 years old and a graduate of CU Boulder and Cornell Law School. Frank Slaninger passed away on Nov. 30 at the age of 72. He spent his early years in Iowa and New York and graduated from Harvard Law School in 1969. He was an active member of the Colorado, Denver and American Bar Associations.
The bar associations were sad to learn of the passing of former DBA President Maury Reuler (March 1, 1923 to December 12, 2016). Reuler devoted his life to the practice of law and to his wife, Magda, whom he married in 1963, and their two children, Jody and Stephanie. His dedication to the legal and broader communities serves as an inspiration to all of us.
